The Challenge

Manchester Blind Shop had a well-regarded physical showroom but virtually no online presence. Their existing site — a basic five-page build from 2016 — had no product photography, no pricing information, and a contact form that had stopped working eight months before they came to us. Customers who found them online were bouncing immediately because there was nothing to engage with.

Made-to-measure blinds are a considered purchase. Customers want to browse options, understand price ranges, and feel confident before committing to a home visit. The old site offered none of that, so the only customers they converted online were those determined enough to call regardless.

The Solution

We led the redesign with product. Every blind category — roller, venetian, Roman, vertical, pleated — has its own page with detailed photography showing the product in realistic home environments, fabric and colour options laid out clearly, and a visible starting price so customers are not put off by fear of opaque costs before they have even enquired.

The quote request form asks for room dimensions, window count and preferred blind type, so the sales team receives qualified enquiries rather than speculative one-liners. A booking system for in-home measuring appointments syncs with the team's availability, eliminating the scheduling back-and-forth that was consuming half an hour per booking. The client reported that customers arriving at measuring appointments had already chosen their fabric in advance, shortening the average sales cycle from two visits to one.
