We built a mobile-first ordering interface designed for the real context in which people order takeaway: on a phone, hungry, wanting to be done in under two minutes. The menu is structured for speed — categories are visible immediately, popular items are surfaced first, and the basket updates without page reloads. The whole order-to-checkout flow requires fewer taps than any of the major aggregator apps.

The menu management system gives the client full control without any technical knowledge: they update prices, mark items as temporarily unavailable, and add seasonal specials themselves. Delivery zone logic validates the customer's postcode before they build their order, preventing abandoned carts from out-of-area customers. The build came in well under the quote they had received elsewhere and the client reported that the site paid for itself within the first month of online orders going live.
